Wadihana Kitchen & Steakhouse, located in Bandar Baru Bangi, is a hidden gem that beautifully merges Malaysian flavors with Western culinary influences. Customers rave about the freshness and generous portions of dishes like the Goreng Kunyit, a vibrant stir-fry, and their celebrated carbonara, described as the best in the area for over a decade. The grilled chicken chop, although noted for being slightly dry, showcases excellent marination, while the Chicken Maryland impresses with its juicy meat and crunchy breadcrumbs.
A standout feature of Wadihana is its warm and welcoming service; staff greet diners with a friendly 'salam' and a sincere apology for any wait times, enhancing the overall dining experience. However, be prepared for limited seating during peak hours and some challenges with parking.
While drink prices may seem high, the indulgent Ice Blended options like the Caramel Latte are worth trying. Despite minor hiccups, like the occasional over-seasoning, many patrons, such as 'Mohamad Hafizzul Ishak,' consistently express satisfaction, making it a must-visit for steak and local dish lovers alike. Overall, Wadihana promises a cozy atmosphere and hearty meals that keep bringing diners back for more.

Reviews for Wadihana Kitchen & Steakhouse
Review highlights
Based on 788 reviewsWadihana Kitchen & Steakhouse is widely appreciated for its fresh, flavorful Malaysian and Western fusion dishes, with standout items such as carbonara, chicken chop, and tender steaks frequently praised. Customers value the generous portion sizes and the reasonable pricing, especially considering the quality of ingredients and overall dining experience. The restaurant's service is consistently noted for being attentive and efficient, accompanied by a welcoming and hospitable atmosphere. However, patrons often mention limited seating and parking challenges, particularly during peak dinner hours, making it better suited for casual dining rather than large celebrations. The clean environment and cozy ambiance further enhance its appeal as a popular dining spot in Bandar Baru Bangi.
The food is fresh, delicious & quite a big portion. Price wise is average for a restaurant but looking at the atmosphere & the service quality I can say it is quite cheap. Service is fast & the restaurant is clean. A little bit hard to get seating if you come during dinner time. As it is located alongside other business so parking also quite hard to get.
Never regret coming here. Every time coming here order different dishes, all satisfied. Not so pricey for the steak compare to other outlet nearby. Service very fast. Recommended who coming here for dinner only and not celebrating as the spaces quite limited.
Wadihana is actually one of the better Western restaurants in Bangi, but looks more like a local dishes restaurant. Best carbonara in Bangi, and has been for the past 10 years or so. Chicken chop is one of the best we've tried too. Mushroom soup is nice, goes to show the quality ingredients they use. The Wadihana burgers are more like Abg Burn burgers and not so much western burgers. Thick juicy patties and messy. Not bad with Asian dishes but didn't click so well with our western meal. There used to be some really good burgers here, maybe one of the other menus. Meatballs aren't IKEA style. They're bakso type meatballs with brown sauce. Fish and chips were quite dry but good tartar sauce. All the potato based sides are really well done, the fries and mashed potatoes. Drinks are quite overpriced, including plain water. Add RM1 if you want it cold... but who orders warm cincau? Would give it 5 stars despite the flaws. But we got a headache after the meal. Likely all the black pepper sauce like meatballs and chicken chop contain heavy MSG.
Enjoy coming here. Will repeat again. The steak so tender.
We ordered chicken maryland and grilled chicken chop. The grilled chicken was well marinated but a bit dry. However, the chicken maryland was superb! The breadcrumbs was crunchy enough and the chicken was juicy. Besides the food, I love the hospitality that the staff had in them. They explained some of their signature menu, they greeted us with salam when we arrived and before we left, and they said "maaf lambat" or "maaf buat encik/puan menunggu" when they served the food even though the waiting time wasn't long Will definitely repeat.
One of the oldest restaurant still operating in Bangi, though it's my first time here. Ambience & Service: 1. 1st floor is very hot even at night, getting hotter if you sit inside. Better sit somewhere at front or take the 2nd floor with airconditioning. 2. Very, very fast service even with full house on weekends. Thumbs up. 3. Able to cater for large families or groups. Food: 1. Huge selection of menus to choose from. You want malay? Ada. Western? Ada. Thai? Ada. 2. Recommended- I. Cheesy pepper chicken chop - Easily one of the best grilled chicken in bangi, BUT comes with really bland sides. Literally sayur rebus and jagung kosong. Mash potato is nice, creamy, though need more seasoning. II. Nasi goreng Wadihana - Nasi goreng kampung with daging/ayam masak kunyit. Tasted delicious but quite dry. Maybe need to order something berkuah to complement. III. Wild mushroom soup - Thick soup packed with mushrooms. Just a touch more salt and it's perfect. IV. Kopi ais selasih cincau - Awesome combo. Others - Masak tomyam is tasty, but wouldn't call it masak tomyam, more like extra kick paprik style. Tldr : There's a reason why it's the oldest restaurant in bangi and still kickin despite all the competition nearby. Consider to repeat with a big group next time. Prolly will order their steaks next.
Sept 2023 - Our favorite restaurant especially for their western foods. Been here so many times and never get tired of their foods. Few years ago the restaurant used to be very spacious and the atmosphere was much better back then, felt more exclusive than how it is now but still a very decent restaurant. Our foods they were delicious and superb. Like I mentioned, western foods here are great. Everything from the presentation to taste and portion, awesome. Drinks are okay too. Their service is good, foods & drinks arrived pretty fast despite having many customers in the restaurant and online order. The staff, for me is a bit unfriendly in their tone of speaking and the way they serve the food. Nov 2023 - Love the foods here. Quality is top notch. Their western food is still the best in town, local cuisines also very delicious. As a regular here, the consistency is very good. The problem might only be the ordering system which is not tally and their steak option is getting fewer than the last time that we dined in here.
Hawaian Chicken Pizza is soo delicious and better than Pizza Hut. Bolognese Spaghetti is another top notch menu. Nasi Goreng Kailan Ikan Masin is soo sedapppp. Quality food served with great taste and worth the price.
